These last two photos may be my favorite photos I’ve taken of Maya. I like the sense of mystery.

After a semester break, this seems like a good time to get back into blogging.

I have officially posted all of my study abroad photos. Three and a half months after arriving in the US. Feels good.

I also visited a friend at a horse farm, and I was reminded of how beautiful and terrifying horses are.

Great days when you walk until your feet ache, your eyes grow heavy from too much scenery, and the culture makes you want to stay forever.

This hotel has housed the rich and famous for many years. A place of pure elegance and grace.

Sneaky sunbathers.

We decided to go get drinks at one of the best hotels in Italy, and enjoy the setting that people such as Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, and Madonna have. Totally unfordable, but incredible nonetheless.

Cinque Terra is famous for its decadence in color, people, culture, and scenery. I also would put into this list: its random and adorable cafe’s that are in the side of mountains. So cool.

Hiking places like this really make me want to devote my life to living like a hobbit would. Seriously.

Sweetest place for a bag lunch!

I feel like a lot of my blogposts are very enthusiastic and positive, which is probably becoming a bit too repetitive. But everywhere I went was just so beautiful. Really frustrating to think of negatives. I mean, you get really sweaty from the hikes, but then you get amazing food and no one cares if you are sweaty (especially Italian men, they will really stop at nothing). So really life is just amazing when you’re in Italy.

Ah those acoustic Italians.

Came across the most amazing place to get lunch. Was served a four course meal with wine. Incredible!

I know what you’re thinking: YOWZA. The facade on this church is stunning. As someone who spend so much time in Florence, seeing the front of this church reminded me of the Duomo, but is stunningly different. I suspect the stone may be from the same area of the country, and much of the color scheme is the same. Gorgeous!

Wherever you go in Italy, there will be one of these plump Italian-chef sculptures to advertise pizza parlors. I have grown very fond of them. They also distinctly remind me of garden gnomes.

Amazing shops in Siena. This shop had home-made candle sculptures that were incredible!

I will get one of these someday.

I ate dinner at this AMAZING restaurant, several stories under the city. The stone and atmosphere was truly unique.
