This hotel has housed the rich and famous for many years. A place of pure elegance and grace.

We decided to go get drinks at one of the best hotels in Italy, and enjoy the setting that people such as Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, and Madonna have. Totally unfordable, but incredible nonetheless.

Cinque Terra is famous for its decadence in color, people, culture, and scenery. I also would put into this list: its random and adorable cafe’s that are in the side of mountains. So cool.

Hiking places like this really make me want to devote my life to living like a hobbit would. Seriously.

Sweetest place for a bag lunch!

Trees leaning sideways for the sunshine. Now image mountains that all look this alluring.

I feel like a lot of my blogposts are very enthusiastic and positive, which is probably becoming a bit too repetitive. But everywhere I went was just so beautiful. Really frustrating to think of negatives. I mean, you get really sweaty from the hikes, but then you get amazing food and no one cares if you are sweaty (especially Italian men, they will really stop at nothing). So really life is just amazing when you’re in Italy.

Wandering through the Street Shops of Paris

It is difficult to travel through a city like Paris and not revel in the aesthetic of the city. The signs, streets, food, people – everything is steeped in design. Just being in the city makes it difficult to not see the beauty that inspired films such as Amelie and Les Chansons d’Amour.

Bruges is a beautiful place! There are men who play the accordion, color coordinated buildings, delicious drinks, letters to be sent, life in 3D, jukeboxes with old tunes, inscriptions on sculptures, an unlikely street performer playing the Hang, handmade soap, serious display systems, scenery, churches, stained glass, doorways, and being charmed by Humphrey Bogart.

Parisian Macaroon’s

I’ve had heard about these mysterious, magical desserts called macaroon’s my whole life and gone without trying one until I came to Paris. They have the charm of being not only aesthetically pleasing, but also may be the most delicious thing I’ve ever had.

Legit Belgian Waffles!

I have done quite a bit of traveling recently (oh, big surprise), and I also took an enormous number of pictures. Really, I probably took too many. I narrowed down Brussels as much as I could.

Three great people to travel with, the most amazing breakfasts, meeting a kind and generous man over omelettes and coffee, waffles, Magritte, circling grand palaces, waffles with chocolate, strawberry and whipped cream, churches that make you want to be religious, museums, grand wandering adventurous, gloves, hats, and pengiun huddles (when necessary), and trying to speak dutch.

I also reveived some really great news! A blogger, IsAVirtue gave be the Liebster Blog Award! Thanks so much to everyone. It is a real treat.
